A little about me!

Born and raised in Port Hope, Ontario, I was drawn to creating, editing, and sharing home-made videos with my friends and family. I knew from an early age that I loved using photos and videos to connect with people. At the age of 13 my parents made the mistake of gifting me a GoPro Hero 3, the perfect tool for me to combine my love of sport, adventure, and content creation to fulfill my wildest creative dreams.

After graduating high school I accepted an offer to attend Toronto Metropolitan University for the RTA Sport Media program in the heart of Canada’s biggest city. Sport Media is a multi-faceted program that allowed me to refine my skills as a story-teller, designer, and creative, for a vast array of diverse media productions. As well as completing extensive academic research around media literacy, contemporary communications, and social nuances that surround the ethics, practices, and responsibilities we carry as media members.

After graduating in 2022, I took on many different freelance positions and contract roles including video editing / social media management, producing documentaries, photography/videography, directing shows for live broadcasts with CityNews, implementing and designing ai models for NHL broadcasts, and so much more!

Currently I am working towards completing my Masters of Documentary Media at Toronto Metropolitan University! I am also involved within the faculty at TMU as a graduate research and teaching assistant! I also work for CityNews as a broadcast director!

In between school and work, I like to bring to life personal projects that I do within film photography, long form and short form video content, and other creative freelance roles when presented with an opportunity!

You can usually catch me running around Toronto trying to get my Strava numbers up, listening to music, travelling near and far to shoot on 35mm, and hitting the links to try and finally break 85!
